Why is it that carnival games look so easy until you try it. the rings never seem to land, the stuffed animal is always nearly impossible to win. Why are those carnival games that are so "simple" actually so hard to win? Is it really the player of the game or do some games use some basic laws of physics to help them set up games in their favor? Students will design and construct their own carnival game and determine how each law of motion applies.
